Do you provide lawn services?

No. Abigail Gardens is a fine-gardening service that provides garden maintenance, garden installation, container installation, and pruning of woody shrubs.

We also do not provide “heavy duty” landscaping services such as turf removal, ivy/kudzu removal, or large scale plantings of ball and burlap trees and shrubs.

What if I just need a garden design?

We provide garden design only if AG will also install the planting. Due to scheduling restrictions, we are not able to provide design only at this time.

Is Abigail available for garden coaching / consultation?

Yes! Coaching sessions are meant for those who would like to do the work themselves but need advice. These are hour-long meetings during which you can ask about design ideas, plant choices, pruning schedules, landscape issues, etc. While you can inquire about our availability during your session, there is no guarantee that we can take you on as a client, and this should not be the focus of your meeting. Please inquire for more information.

I just need garden maintenance. Can AG help?

Garden maintenance is, by far, our most-requested service. We’re a small business (less than 10 staff) and want to remain that way! We are not able to service every request for garden maintenance right away. Requests for garden maintenance only will be taken on a wait-list basis. The fastest way to get us into your garden is to book us for a one-time service such as container installation, perennial installation, or pruning of your woody shrubs (boxwood, hydrangea, etc.).

How far ahead of time does AG book?

For garden design and installation, we may be booking 6 months out. Spring and Fall are our two installation seasons. Please inquire for more information.

Where do AG Crews work?

We service the area from Crozet to downtown Charlottesville. We do not currently service Keswick at this time.

Can you help with houseplants?

Yes! We re-pot, source, and care for large office plants.
